The Next Chapter

Diane and Leslie contacted me when they decided to reunite nearly 40 years on after their first marriage. Very much a couple in love they had a beautiful family wedding day at the Riverside House Hotel in Ashford in the Water, Derbyshire. And I really look forward to another big family day of theirs later in the year!

After capturing Annie's proud parents special wedding anniversary portraits it was only natural on Annie's arrival I should capture the amazing new member of the family. She was a very alert baby who didn't want to miss any of the action. Annie will no doubt to grow up a very curious and knowledgeable indiviual! I look forward to seeing her again soon.

Wedding Bells Ring from Spain to Sheffield

Moira and Rick brought the sunshine all the way from Spain to Sheffield when they made a trip home to tie the knot.  They said I do in a ceremony at the Sheffield Town Hall registry office followed by a reception at the Old Vicarage at Ridgeway. Do see a small highlights video on my facebook page!

Tips for helping choose your wedding photographer

In a changing world of digital photography, affordable cameras, and free website builders, there are many people trying their hand at being a professional photographer. They may have a portfolio of 20 good wedding shots for you to see. However there is no substitute for experience, so make sure that you see work from many different weddings and whole weddings. If the same Bride and Groom keep popping up in a small portfolio it means one of two things… either this photographer has not photographed many weddings before, or they have not photographed many weddings they are proud to show prospective clients. Of course all wedding photographers at some stage in their life had never photographed a wedding, but it’s important to know the level of experience you’re investing and trusting in.
